Privacy Policy
Last updated: 30 May 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Venzaronz Limited ("we", "us") collects, uses, discloses and protects personal information on venzaronz.com and related services. We follow the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and the Information Privacy Principles.
Personal information we collect
- Account details: name/username, email, login credentials (stored as hashed passwords), preferences, age/eligibility confirmations where needed.
- Device & analytics data: IP address, device/browser type, operating system, pages viewed, referral URLs, approximate location (from IP), cookie identifiers.
- Gameplay data: game progress, scores, in-game events, session timing, anti-cheat/security signals, and leaderboards if enabled.
- Support messages: content you send to us (including attachments), and metadata needed to respond.
We generally collect information directly from you or your device. We may also receive limited information from service providers that help us operate the site (for example, fraud/security signals).
Why we collect and how we use it
- Provide and administer accounts, gameplay features, and customer support.
- Maintain security, prevent misuse, detect and investigate suspicious activity.
- Improve performance and user experience (including analytics and testing).
- Communicate service notices and, where permitted, marketing (you can opt out of marketing).
- Meet legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.
We only collect information that is necessary for these purposes, and we will take reasonable steps to ensure it is accurate, up to date, and protected.
Cookies & analytics
We may use cookies and similar technologies for essential functions (such as login and security) and for analytics to understand how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings and may be able to disable non-essential cookies; however, some features may not work properly.
How we share information
We may share personal information:
- With trusted service providers who process information on our behalf (e.g., hosting, analytics, email delivery, customer support tools), under instructions and appropriate protections.
- With other users where you choose to make information public (e.g., display name on leaderboards).
- To comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect the rights, property, or safety of users or the public.
- As part of a business transaction (e.g., merger, acquisition), subject to continued protection.
Cross-border transfers
Some service providers may store or process information outside New Zealand (for example, in Australia, the United States, or other locations). Where cross-border disclosure occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure information is protected in a way that is comparable to New Zealand’s privacy standards (including contractual safeguards and access controls).
Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes described above, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law. For example, we generally retain account information while your account is active; after closure, we may retain limited records for security, dispute resolution, and compliance, then delete or de-identify where reasonable.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, such as access controls, least-privilege practices, and technical/organisational measures appropriate to the risk. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights (New Zealand)
Under the Privacy Act 2020, you can request access to, and correction of, personal information we hold about you. If we decline a request, we will explain why (where permitted). You may also complain if you believe we have breached the Privacy Act.
To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
