Responsible Play (NZ)
Venzaronz.com encourages safe, informed play. If gambling stops being fun, get support early.
Quick self-check
- Spending more than you can afford, chasing losses, or borrowing to gamble
- Hiding gambling, feeling anxious/irritable, or neglecting work/whānau
- Gambling to cope with stress, low mood, or loneliness
If any apply, consider the tools below and talk to a support service.
Manage time & spending
- Set a strict budget and time limit before you start; stop when either is reached
- Use alarms, take breaks, and avoid gambling when tired, upset, or under the influence
- Keep gambling separate from essentials (rent, food, power); never chase losses
- Consider bank card controls (merchant blocks/limits) where available
Self-exclusion & blocking access
Options you can use in New Zealand:
- Venue/casino self-exclusion: you can request exclusion directly with a venue. Gambling support services can help you through the process.
- Device/site blocking: use device parental controls, browser restrictions, or blocking apps to limit access to gambling content.
- Support from us: email contact@venzaronz.com to request account restrictions/closure (if applicable) and to opt out of marketing.
